As part of the European Universities Initiative the programme Advanced Technology Higher Education Network Alliance (ATHENA) promotes the bringing together a new generation of creative Europeans able to cooperate across languages, borders and disciplines to address societal challenges and skills shortages faced in Europe.
The Center for Sensor Systems holds a full-day doctoral seminar every year, which shows the progress made in the research of the doctoral students. The aim of this event is the exchange of information and knowledge between doctoral students from the various working groups of the ZESS. This year the thematic focus of the presentations is on Optical Sensing.
The European Training Network (ETN) MENELAOSNT addresses the ever more significant problem of scientifically and technologically exploring the world on micro- and macroscopic scale. The Early Stage Researchers started their PhD project in 2020 will give on overview of their research topic related to applications on Compressive Sensing.
